1902 Special Double Deck issued for
Coronation of H.M. King Edward VII on the 26th June

I do not like the word Unique but, on this occasion, I think it is justified.
The POW was in fact ill and the Coronation was postponed to 9th August.

The cards were designed by John Seymour R.A.
who signed the title card on one pack - The Ace of Hearts.

The cards are housed in the Official Leather Box with Gold embossing.
The packs are both Tax Wrapped
though one one pack about half the wrapper
is missing but the sealed tie is still in place

The cards are Mint as is the Box
The pack still has the original protective box
together with the stout posting box.

This is a LIMITED EDITION
NOT SOLD TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
